H 超市: H Mart Korean Supermarket for Asian Groceries
This is Hmart’s first outpost in the city of Los Angeles. Part of a nationwide American chain of Korean-focused Asian supermarkets established in 1982.
Opened at the Madang Mall on October 23, 2014.
Cramped interior includes fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), fish and seafood, tofu, kimchi, frozen foods (dumplings, ice cream…), packaged banchan, “lunchboxes” (bento), food samples, Japanese snacks, Korean candy, bottled water and dried noodles.
